This time, for the first time in a long while, we were incredibly lucky with the weather. A week of sunshine with moderate winds and the occasional light rain shower for a refreshing cool-down.

The fishing was also excellent. Everyone caught their fish and had a fantastic week. Accommodation and catering were, as always, first-class, leaving nothing to be desired. Helmut brought together a group of 11 anglers from six countries (USA, South Africa, Belarus, Lithuania, Austria, and Germany).

This year, I once again spent a few days on Alphonse Island before and after my week in Cosmoledo – always a great experience. This time, I had the chance to meet some new fishing friends from North Carolina. Awesome guys – thank you for welcoming me so warmly from the very beginning. You are truly great!
