The wind picked up a bit during the second day. But that didn’t bother the teams. Some boats choose to fish the lew side of San Antoa, others went straight to San Pedro bank. The boats that fished San Antao fond some good fish.
At the end of the day a load of marlin was caught. Three boats managed to catch and release 4 blue marlins each!! The 15 boats in tournament managed to catch and release 24 blue marlin. A new record in the history of the PENN Challenge. Never before in the tournament’s anals we recorded 24 blue marlins in one day!!
Best boat today was La Onda Mila. Team Los Primos caught 4 marlins ending op in first place today. Extra points were gained by switching on the bait.
In second place came in PENN Force One.
Third place was for the Chinese team Ocean Sun.
